basketball again
So, tonight was my first 'official' basketball practice. Well actually, before I go into that, I got an Email back from Scott at the Y. He apoligized for not responding sooner, but his wife just had a baby, so he has been out. He said that hes going to try and help me swich onto the team I want to. That excited me. Havent heard from him yet, but I hope to have heard from him by tomorrow.
Anyways. So I get to practice, late of course. We start practicing. I dont miss any shots. He is blown away. I just laugh because he went on saying something like "you have a good arm keep it up!" and then we had to go around saying what we're best at, when it was my turn hes just like, we dotn even need to ask its shooting. I wanted to tel him to shut up, hes saying it all because he knows I dont like him. I knew he could tell because I didnt listen to him and I just didnt seem interested at all. Also i was like Ha. Cant wait to play against you once I swich teams. He tried so hard to get me on his team, but im not going to stay.
Well anyways, all the chicks on my team are like 7-8th graders I swear. Some arent that good, but some of them are pretty decient. We wouldnt be good enough to win a whole lot though, becuase I know what we would be going up against.
Scrimaged against shelbys team cuz they practice the same time as us. Theyre pretty good! cant wait to get swiched! hahah. Shelby made some good shots.
I need to go ice my knee. i forgot my brace for practice! ill update again, maybe friday.
