NYC04CHRISTMAS
New York is beautiful. I love the city. I love the car gridlock, I love all the people, I love the vendor soft pretzles, I love all the big expensive stores, I love the little cheap junk shops, I love the cafes with the best coffee, I love the chinease resteraunts because they're better then State College could ever have, I love everything about it. Christmas time makes it so much better. I wish it could have snowed. But seeing the big tree in Rockafeller Center, and all the lights on the trees, and Sax having all the snowflakes light up on the side of the building was gorgous. I wish I could move there right now.
It was a wonderful trip. The drive there I fell asleep, but then I drove once we got into Jersey and it was the scaries experiance of my life, people going all over the place. I let my dad drive as we got to the Lincon Tunnel, deffinalty didnt think I could do that in a standard. It only took about 4 and 1/2 hours to get there, which wasn't bad, figuring we stoped to get some food and stuff.
Checked into the hotel, it was right in time sqare, we had a nice room up on one of the top floors, even though we wern't there very long. We checked in and then left to go walking around. Went in a lot of stores, but I sppent the most time in Sephora getting Alexa, Allison, my sis and my mom christmas presents. Funny how I can spend 250 in there for only a few people. Walked around some more, ate some excellent chinease food, went back to the hotel for like an hour and took a nap (hah I was tired as crap) then we went out again walked into stores and went to the christmas tree and took pictures. Then we went to the show which it was magnificent. Big word I know but I dont know how else to describe it. It was gorgous inside Radio City, and I loved it. After that we walked around more until like 1-130 and it was crazy, so many people out even though it was so late.
I took a lot of pictures and loved it all.
Today we went back to Sephora to get the rest of my prsents, and to Toys R Us and I got to go on the ferris wheel thats inside it was AWESOME. I love the place. Went to some other stores, then got some muffins and water and left early, wanted to beat the storm, which.. didn't happen.
Ice happened on RT80, i was sleeping and my dad woke me up. We were litterally going 11 mph most of the way, and I saw enough people dead/unconcious and about a million cars that looked like eurpoeanan mini cars even if they were supposed to be suburbans. It was crazy. deffinatly scary as crap.
It was wonderful. I love NY. I wish I could have seen Peter..
